Private Medical Insurance

Private Medical Insurance is designed to allow you or your employees to have treatment privately and avoid delays through the NHS in securing treatment for a medical condition. It provides cover for acute, treatable medical conditions. It can be provided for a company or for an individual and their family.

If you have the right policy, it allows you to have your treatment, when you want, where you want and with whom you want.

With the ongoing challenges faced by the National Health Service, it is no surprise that Private Medical Insurance (PMI) is now more popular than ever, with over six million people now covered either on personal policies for themselves and their families or through their employers on corporate schemes.

It is particularly popular for self-employed/small businesses people who know that should they be absent from work for a long period of time due to illness, it could be disastrous or indeed fatal for their long-term business strategy.
