From a personal prospective I have over 25 years of experience in the healthcare sector and I love the interaction that I get visiting and advising clients on an ongoing basis, some I have had for well over 20 years.
I enjoy the theatre, musical theatre, concerts, eating out, cinema, most sports including football, rugby, snooker, T20 Cricket etc and I love a good karaoke night!!
I regularly attend the gym with spinning, body pump, body combat and attack classes on my regular exercise list and enjoy swimming(but only when on holiday) and I restarted golf again a couple of years ago after a 30 year break!
I’m lucky to have enjoyed some amazing holidays over the years too and I’m always looking for possible new destinations.
I have 3 great daughters and I’m lucky to have many fantastic friends, some of which I’ve had almost 50 years.
I have 30 years’ experience in financial client management, 12 years of that within the health and protection sector. Providing personalised bespoke client service is what I enjoy about my role at Gemini Health and Protection. Our clients never have to ‘Press 1’ to be directed to another robot and sit on hold for 20 minutes, they can contact me directly at any time and speak straight away to someone they know and trust. It is the kind of service I look for as a customer and I’m proud we have made it a priority at Gemini.
I live on the edge of the Peak District with my partner in a higgledy-piggledy 17th century mill cottage by the river. I’m an enthusiastic amateur actress, have sailed around the world and have far too many pets for an adult with no children!

Having over 17 years experience working within the Private Medical Insurance Sector, including managing an Intermediary Helpline for Aviva and working for an Intermediary Broker. I feel I have invaluable experience to help me understand what our customers want and need.
I have an active family and our life is packed full of adventures from Horse and Biking competitions, to Skiing and enjoying holidays together.
Like many, my working career first started while I was still at school. Working weekends and holidays at my families Petrol Station and Garage, because of this, work was never just turn up, do the job and go home as being a family business the job came home with us.
On leaving school I decided not to join the family business but instead to join another family run business who were General Insurers Brokers and Financial Advisers. First, I worked on the General Insurance side of the business and then moving on to Financial Advice. It became clear that although experience and knowledge was invaluable within the industry, our true strengths were the relationship we built with our customers.
Throughout my career I have continued to put the clients first as I believe building strong working relationships with clients should be the basis of all businesses especial within Financial Services, Health and Protection businesses. Something that seems to be forgotten in the large National Service providers.
Having worked in all aspect of Financial Services, I spent over a decade working primarily with corporate clients particularly around Employee Benefits and Protection.
When not working I like to garden and travel, as well as attend equine and music events. Up to a few years ago I also spent a lot of time with my horses but having now lost them to old age, I instead now get my animal fix by helping friends with their horses as well as volunteering from time to time as an “Animal Ambulance” driver helping local animal rescue transport animals in need.
I have over 25 years’ experience in the health and protection industry, looking after, and protecting the interests of our customers and clients. I am always seeking out the best possible terms, and going the extra mile, and thinking ‘ outside the box ‘ for our clients. If there is a solution to a problem … we will find it. You will find that here at Gemini, my Colleagues and I, will find the time for our customers, we will listen to them, and help, and assist them, in any way that we can. We aim to make a difference – and that difference is what sets us apart from the rest.
I love all sports – Football, Motor Racing, Rugby, Cricket, Cycling, Tiddlywinks, Camel Racing, and anything to do with a ball. I have a sharp sense of humour ( sorry ), and a passion for fast cars, classic cars, good food, home cooking, fine wine, and a good movie.
I have many years’ experience of office management and administration which I bring to running the Gemini office, supporting the team and providing excellent service to our clients.
When I am not in the office I am busy with my brood, most often on a football side-line or cricket boundary. We also love a stomp around the peaks as a family. I have been learning Spanish for a year now and am looking forward to using it in a warmer climate soon!
I am the rookie of the Gemini Team! I have many years of Project Management, Administrative and HR experience working across the private, public and voluntary sectors. I am proud to have recently joined the team here at Gemini and share their company values and passion for providing excellence in customer service. It is great to be part of a team that are genuinely passionate about what they do and the service they provide to their clients.
Outside of work I have a young very active family which keeps me busy! I am a keen artist with a passion for surface pattern and interior design. My lifelong love is horses and I am a qualified riding and biomechanics coach. I love animals, the great outdoors and gardening and may have a small obsession with collecting plants!
